Annika Rutlin 'Chunky Cross' Leather Mens Necklace

PRODUCT SUMMARY

Being inspired by both traditional and modern European designs, Annika Rutlin produces men's jewellery that is bold with uncompromising lines. The 'Chunky Cross' is a prime example from Rutlin's classic modern collection.

The chunky black leather necklace is 47cm long and 3mm wide. Suspended from the leather thong is a 925 sterling silver cross which measures 2cm by 1.6cm. The pendant has a 5mm square profile which creates a substantial body for the 'Chunky Cross'. The black leather threads through the top part of the cross, allowing the pendant to move freely along the thong to creates a continual and coherent line between the necklace and pendant.

The surface of the silver has been skillfully finished with sporadic cuts which give the precious metal both a high shine and a matte finish (depending on the nature of the silver cuts). In addition, the cross pendant features two simple oxidised black lines; one just above the the base of the vertical bar and the other on the left hand side of the horizontal bar (if you are looking at the pendant front on). These black lines complete the coherency of design which is showcased through Rutlin's collection.

The leather necklace fastens securely using a 925 silver lobster claw clasp. To enable this British-made necklace to be identified, there is a small silver disc next to the clasp which is embossed with the 'Annika Rutlin' brand name.
