British designer, Chris Campbell has created and evolved this range of silver jewellery exclusively for men. It is the intricately, woven linked, wheat chain that characterises this necklace at first glance. It sits at 56cm long and 6mm wide with a round profile. The links sit closely together, offering a snake chain effect. In between each of the links the 925 silver has been oxidised, this technique has been used to highlight the masculine wide design and textured layering of the oval links.
The second prominent feature of this men's necklace is the 3cm long round cylinder clasp. The exterior of the clasp has been adorned with a protruding twisted rope deign at either end and the centre segment has been indented with adjoining circles. These circles sit at 3 across. This unusual and exclusive clasp function's as a hidden clasp.
A hidden clasp conceals the functionality of the connecting pieces. The lever activated clasp is concealed inside the silver cylinder and can be unfastened by pressing down the lever which sits just outside of the clasp. There is also a safety catch which supports the secure fastening of this men's silver necklace.
