PRODUCT SUMMARY
The 'Mako' collection from Brighton based designer, Chris Hawkins, is inspired by 'the evolved beauty of natures predators'. Named after the Mackerel Shark (aka Mako), the smooth lines and sleek design of the stunning 'Mako' men's necklace have been based on bold, natural shapes and textures.
The necklace is constructed from genuine dark brown leather which sits at 45cm long and 3mm wide. The leather thong fastens securely using an oxidised silver lobster claw clasp. Suspended from the leather is the beautifully handcrafted 'Mako' pendant which is shaped like a shark silhouette.
The stunning 925 silver pendant sits at 4cm long and approximately 1.5cm wide. The curved edges of the pendant have been oxidised, meaning that the recesses has been darkened. This oxidised effect really enhances the predatory concept of this piece.
The surface of the silver has been satin polished which gives the pendant a fine matte finish. The solid silver pendant gives the necklace a substantial weight, making it look and feel like a premium piece of jewellery.
