PRODUCT SUMMARY
Chris Hawkins' appreciation of the natural world is highlighted in his latest 'Stingray' collection. The 'Stingray' linked men's bracelet has been inspired by the texture and finish of the skin of a stingray fish. The 'Stingray' bracelet is a fine example of Hawkins' phenomenal technical and design ability.
The bracelet is made up from 925 silver and sits at 23cm long. The linked bracelet is constructed from 1cm long, 2mm wide and 5mm deep, rectangular links which form a box chain.
The chain fastens securely using a toggle clasp. At one end of the chain sits the clasp in which the toggle threads through, this section measures 2.8cm long and 2cm wide. The rectangular clasp has rounded edges, is slightly tapered and has a cut out centre. The surface of this section has been designed to emanate the texture and look of a stingray's skin. The recesses have been oxidised and darkened. This technique has been used to highlight the rounded design that has been cut into the surface.
At the opposite end of the chain is the toggle. It has also been constructed from 925 silver and measures 3.3cm long and 8mm wide (tapering to a soft point). The silver has a smooth surface, offering a contrast to the texture surface of the clasp when the bracelet is closed.
This contemporary and masculine 'Stingray' linked bracelet comes delivered in an official black and white Aaron-Kane presentation box.
