When Mourinho first came to Chelsea his confidence was soaring after winning the SuperLiga and Champions League with Porto the season prior.Whilst his opening day victory over United could never be described as special, the words dour and defensive more fitting, Mourinho was certainly ready to leave his mark on Premiership football, which he did.United fans remembered this man all too well and for all the wrong reasons. It was his Porto side that knocked us out of the European Cup on their way to being crowned Champions. After a Paul Scholes goal, which would have put us 2-0 up before half time, was wrongly disallowed, Porto grabbed a last minute equaliser to put us out.Mourinho raced down the touchline at Old Trafford in celebration and the image stuck with us.We had the last laugh over Mourinho though, with us denying him a third successive league title with our victory in 2006-2007.However, for all the hype he created, all the praise he lavished upon himself, it seems that the not-so-special-one had some help along the way. His Porto team benefited from paying off the referee and will now miss next season?s Champions League campaign. It?s all too little too late for United though.BBC: ?Scholes should have doubled United?s advantage on the stroke of half-time, but his strike was ruled out by a linesman?s flag, with television replays showing the decision was clearly incorrect.?The Guardian: ?The outcome might have been different had a linesman, with a bad offside decision, not denied Paul Scholes a second goal to extend the lead on the verge of half-time.?United were robbed and cruelly dumped out of the Cup.
Lets say the ICC need a world XI to take on New Zealand in a test match who would be in it?Lets start with England and most people would say pietersonbecause he is naturally class, but he hasn’t been in fine form as he, what about Alistar Cook, fine batsmen and learning the game quite quickly. However ive started to feel that England are lacking world class players like Australia Bowling wise Ryan Sidebottom could be a good player to have. He was class against the kiwis over theChristmas period but as failed to get hisconsistent over here.Australia. They to me have the best two batsmen in the world at the minute, and they are Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey. However i do feel they have failed to replace McGrath and Warne.Anyway heres my best test 11out of 101.Sachin Tendulkar 92.Graeme Smith 83.Ricky Ponting (c) 94.Michael Hussey 95.Kevin Pieterson 86.Andrew Symonds 87.Brendon McCullum (wk) 88.Ryan Sidebotton 89.Brett Lee 910.Dale Steyn 911.Muttiah Muralitharan 9.
In past two seasons, the Grizzlies are average 22 wins per season, and they missed the playoff two years in a row after they made it in previous three years. After the trade of Pau Gasol, they made it clear that they are looking for rebuild this team. And I don’t need to spend too much time talking about how GOOD the New York Knicks are, one of the most disappoint teams in all the sport. With the new President and coaching staff, they are looking for a brand new culture to restart this team to next level. For the Grizzlies, they need a big man that can rebound and play defense. Kwame Brown (become free agent this summer), Darko Milicic and Jason Collins are not the answer for this team. They can also get some help from the free agent market or trade since they are under the salary cap this summer. Like the Sonics, their two first round picks will also help them to get the player they want (Dwyane Wade, I will break down those trade during the draft week).
