By balancing both modern and traditional design, Brighton-based designer, Annika Rutlin, has created a bold collection of men's jewellery. Inspired by both British and European design, the men's accessories created by this highly skilled, Scandinavian-born, designer are stunningly individual.
The 'Silver and Onyx Beads' Annika Rutlin necklace is constructed from 45cm long, 4mm wide, genuine black leather. The leather thong is capped with 925 silver, which is attached to a square lobster claw clasp that securely fastens the necklace. Suspended from the leather is a three-part silver and onyx pendant.
A 925 silver oval-shaped bead connects the detailed pendant to the leather necklace. This oval bead is then linked to a second inverted, central 925 silver bead. The main feature of the pendant is the single, multi-faceted black onyx bead which sits at the base of the pendant. As a single piece, the three beads measure 2cm long by 7mm wide.
