By combining urban influenced materials and natural components, British designer Chris Campbell, has created an exclusive men's jewellery range. Hawkins is renowned for both his technical and creative ability. The 'Symmetrical Wood' ring showcases Hawkins' talent and detailed craftsmanship.
The men's ring is constructed from 925 solid silver and sits at 11mm wide and 2mm deep. The band has been cut with a rectangular profile which gives this ring a contemporary and masculine construction.
What gives this ring its individual characteristics are the inlaid panels of Cueramo wood which has been sustainably sourced from Tierra Caliente in Mexico. These 5mm wide panels run around the circumference of the band in two separate pieces.
The natural darkness of the wood contrasts the high shine and the smoothness of the urban style 925 silver. It is this contrasting structure and the natural grain of the wood that has created an individual and exclusive men's ring.
