The 'Stem' men's jewellery collection has been created and innovated by British designer, Chris Hawkins. The range has been inspired by the natural form and patterns that occur within plants. This gives the 'Blade' a unique and interesting quality.
The ring has been established in 925 silver. The shank of the ring measures at 4mm wide and graduates to the shoulder and front panel to sit at 1cm wide and between 3 - 4mm deep. The front of the ring has an asymmetric vertical side profile. The surface of the silver has been finely satin polished which offers a matte effect. This technique gives the ring a masculine and contemporary style. The main feature of this ring is the front panel and shoulder of this 'Blade ring.
There are 3 inverted, curved recesses within the silver. All the channels sit with different widths and have been highlighted with the use of oxidisation. The silver is blackened after this process is applied, enhancing the shape and cut of this men's ring.
The tapered sides and graduating side panels seamlessly blend and merge into one another. The technical and design ability of Chris Hawkins is completely exploited within the design of this ring.
