The Stingray collection created by British, and Brighton-based, men's jewellery designer Chris Hawkins exploits the texture and surface of the skin of a stingray fish. The silver men's jewellery collection has been inspired by nature and its predators. The 'Stingray' cuff is a perfect example of one of Hawkins' stunning designs which highlights his exquisite craftsmanship.
The 'Stingray' fixed bracelet is constructed from 925 silver and weighs a substantial 60g/2oz. The cuff sits at 1.3cm and tapers to 1cm. The silver cuff has been designed with an open design that can be slipped over the side of the wrist. The silver men's bracelet has been designed with a square profile and an asymmetric design. The surface of the silver has been finished with soft satin polish which results in subtle matte detail.
The top outer surface has been adorned with the 'Stingray' skin design. The design is outlined over the surface from 1cm to 5mm wide. The recesses have been oxidised and darkened, highlighting the randomly spaced rounded segments.
