PRODUCT SUMMARY
Chris Hawkins is a British designer based in Brighton who has created and innovated an exclusive collection of men's jewellery. The range is based on bold, natural textures and designs. The 'Claw' cufflinks are a prime example of Hawkins' stunning work.
The 'Claw' cufflinks are constructed from 925 silver. The head sits at 2.2cm long and 1.2cm wide, tapering to a soft point at the base. As with many designs in his 'Mako' range, the cufflinks have been shaped like the claw of a bird of prey, a natural predator.
It is the darkened finish that individualises these cufflinks. The silver has been coated in rare Ruthenium metal. The use of Ruthenium metal is unusual and creates a high quality, unique finish.
The claw shaped head has been adorned in the central column with an exposed textured surface. The oxidised recesses have been darkened and almost emanates the layers of sharks teeth or tearing of a natural surface. The fineness and detailed texture conveys the technical and design ability of Hawkins.
These fixed cufflinks are carved with a seamless design to sit with a horizontal silver post which is then carved into a smaller claw shaped design. This smaller claw acts as the back for these thread-through cufflinks.
The contemporary and alternative style cufflinks have been perfectly modernised and have challenged the classic and traditional design of the men's cufflink with an almost 'Gothic' or 'Rock' inspired design. This cufflinks come delivered within a premium Aaron-Kane presentation box.
