The 'Direct' men's necklace is the creation of Iain Henderson. He is a British men's jewellery designer who has designed and made his entire range within his studio on York, England. The foundation of which the collection has been built is one of simplicity, masculinity and high end design.
The necklace of the 'Direct' is part of the linear 10 range and has been constructed from 100%, black leather with a round profile. The leather sits at 2mm wide and 45cm long. It has been designed as a short hang necklace that can be worn with any neckline. The necklace fastens securely with a silver cap that uses a lobster clasp to close.
Hanging from the leather necklace is a 3cm long and 5mm squared width, 925 silver pendant. The leather threads through the pendant 3mm along the length. The parallel sides and edges of the rectangular pendant create a streamlined and angular design feature, a signature of the IHD range.
The surface of the silver has been finished with a diagonally brushed effect. Using this technique gives the silver a matte finish, enhancing the timeless and masculine nature of this men's silver and leather necklace. The 'Direct' necklace is a true classic which has been distingued by the elegant and exact design that is incorporated into the cut of the pendant.
