The IHD men's jewellery collection has been created by British designer, Iain Henderson. Since finishing his Silversmith degree he has designed and produced an amazing men's range which includes the 'Penta' cufflinks. The cufflinks reflect the rest of the IHD range with a streamlined and quality finish.
Both the head, bar and fastener have been completed in 925 silver. The head of the 'Penta' links have been finished with an irregular shaped octagonal profile. The face measures 3cm long, 6mm wide and 5mm deep. There are 2 wider sides which are exposed on the exterior of the head.
The surface of the 925 silver has been finished with brushed matte effect. This technique allows a matte finish, offering a masculine and subtly differentiated design. The parallel edges and smooth surfaces give the 3cm long head a modern style which is balance with the elegant design, making them a piece of jewellery that can be worn for all formal occasions, and will never date.
It is a toggle bar that is used to fasten these cufflinks through a cuff of man's shirt. This feature has also been designed in silver. The bar of the toggle pivots into a vertical position in to allow the wearer ease of use then pivots back into a horizontal position to fasten the links securely.
